NHS Personal Health Budget Scheme
- Ref: Personal Health Budget
The new NHS Personal Health Budget Scheme will give more choice of where equipment can be bought as well as a detailed care plan catering for individual needs, ensuring a more
joined-up approach, which is a key aim of NHS England’s Five Year Forward View. The NHS Personal Health Budget is an amount of money assigned to an individual to support your health and well-being needs. This will be planned and agreed between you (or someone who represents you) and your local NHS team. The care plans will go beyond purchasing your equipment including maintenance, repair and replacement. Click on the links below to find out more information.
