Guarantees, Service, Maintenance and Insurances
Guarantees
All new products are offered with a 12 months parts and labour warranty including call outs subject to circumstances. Some products are offered with 2 years or more parts warranties with some manufacturers, but may be subject to service/maintenance having taken place. Pre-owned and 2nd user products have 6 months or less warranty, please check with the individual showroom. These warranties are subject to terms and conditions.
Items of a consumable nature will not be covered under the warranty unless the item is faulty and this is at the discretion of the store manager. Items purchased which are not faulty however wish to be returned will be subjected to a 25% restocking fee. Special orders are non-returnable.
Batteries come with 12 months warranty which excludes improper use and use of faulty chargers.
Servicing and Maintenance
‘Standard’ and ‘Comprehensive’ Servicing for stairlifts is available following the warranty period, plus emergency call outs if required for mechanical and electrical faults.
We also service and repairs for all powered products, wheelchairs and walkers starting from £30.
Emergency callouts and repairs are available to non-operational stairlifts. Prices will vary depending on the call out day/time and distance covered.
Insurance
Capitol Mobility Limited will provide you with insurance brochures which are regulated by the Financial services Authority (FSA). We strongly recommend 3rd party insurance cover for all Mobility Products. Please contact us or speak to our representative for more information.
