The Handicare ‘Simplicity Plus+’ Straight 2nd User Stairlift offers all the basic functions you would require from a Stairlift. There is an easy release retractable or easy fasten Velcro seat belt. It is easy to operate by using a toggle to travel smoothly up and down the stairs. The battery has a backup which means the Stairlift will continue to work in the event of power failure. The Stairlift comes with two remote controls to call and send the Stairlift from the top and down. This Stairlift has a maximum weight capacity of 22 Stones/140 Kilos. for the standard Straight Stairlift. This Stairlift comes with a range of safety sensors that are designed to stop your Stairlift if it meets an obstruction as you travel up the stairs.
Other options are a choice of upholstery, powered seat swivel/or folding foot plate.
If you have an obstruction near the base of the stairs you can choose to have a manually operated hinged track or a slide track, which can be folded away after use to prevent causing an obstruction. The Hinge/Slide Track Stairlift has a maximum weight capacity 19 Stones/120 Kilos.
