Motability Scheme PWSS Mobility Scooters 4, 6, 8 mph
Are you in receipt of DLA or PIPs? You could have a Scooter or Electric Wheelchair/Powerchair using your weekly allowance. Most scooters and powered wheelchairs cost less than your weekly mobility allowance. Exchange your qualifying mobility allowance for a brand new car, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV), scooter or powered wheelchair, so you can enjoy more freedom and independence. You’ll get a brand-new product, and a full package which includes:
Insurance from RSA Motability
Servicing and maintenance
Full Motability Assist breakdown assistance
Yearly tax, if you have a Class 3 product
Tyre and battery replacements
Motability receive your payments straight from your allowance provider, to make paying simple. So you know – you might need to top this up with an Advance Payment.
Motability is now offering all new 4 mph Mid-Range, 6 mph and 8 mph Scooters canopies to protect you from the typical British weather. Capitol Mobility has been a successful dealer in the Powered Wheelchair and Scooter Scheme (PWSS) for many years and has built up an excellent repeat customer business. Our experienced team at Capitol Mobility can help you choose the right mobility equipment and go through the Motability Scheme with you and explain how much your weekly rental Scooter will be for you. The Scooters shown on this page are a sample of the Motability Scheme Scooters we offer. Please contact us for more information.
Class 2 Scooters can only be used on the pavement and have a maximum speed of 4 mph.
Class 3 Scooters (6 mph and 8 mph) can be used on the road, but must be registered with the DVLA and require road tax.
